Things always come out as "interesting concepts" but all too often end up as cheap gimmicks that get old fast.
I'm 19, and I have been trying for a very, very long time to get a job. I lost my job back in January when Circuit City announced it was going to shut down. I've applied at so many places, I couldn't even begin to tell you how many. I've had maybe three interviews, and I did nothing wrong with any of them, but they never called back, and whenever I tried to reach them they blew me off. I've even applied for fast food. But nothing. I can't get through to anyone. No one will hire me. Many places I tried to apply at wouldn't even take my application and stated that they haven't even so much as glanced at any applications for over six months. It's horrible out there. For those of you that have a job, you really don't know how lucky you are. And I'm not the only one. I have met many other people in the same predicament I'm in, many even worse off.It eventually gets to a point... a feeling of hopelessness, that there isn't any point in trying anymore.Just thought I'd give you an idea of what it's really like. I know there may be diggers far off worse than I am, but I figured I'd share my story anyway.
