There is no bug in SSL: http://www.imperialviolet.org/2009/11/05/tls-reneg ..."Here's the issue: there's an extremely uncommon configuration of web servers where they're setup to require client side certificates for some URLs and not others. If a user has an HTTPS connection open that didn't handshake with a client side certificate and they try to access such a URL, the webserver will perform another handshake on the same connection. As soon as that handshake completes with the correct certificate, they'll run the request that was received from before the connection was fully authenticated.It's a bug in the web server. There was a misunderstanding between what the folks writing the webserver thought that TLS was providing and what it actually provides. One might also argue that it's a short coming in the HTTP protocol (there's no way for a server to ask a client to redo a request). One might also argue that TLS should provide the properties that the web servers expected.But it's not a flaw in TLS. The TLS security properties are exactly what was intended."

I rembemr hearing Timothy Geithner say if the stimulus was passed we would hit no more than 8% unemployment. But it seems people forgot that....
***** Walmart. I haven't shopped there in 8 years, and don't plan on ever going back unless they change their policies. Their CEO's have like $50 billion and they still pay minimum wage and help their employees fill for state assisted health insurance because their too *****' cheap. That "savings" you get from shopping at Walmart, is just you subsidizing health insurance for their employees through your state taxes.!

This might be the greatest post on digg of all time. There is nothing more awesome than killing tons of zombies, even if means the world is going to end. If I could digg you up a million times, I wouldn't. I'd do it infinity x4.?
I enjoy using Windows 7. The taskbar was a bit confusing at first, but I got over that. One of the biggest reasons I love Windows 7 is because compared to Vista, start-up and shutdown is so quick! |

The only time you ever hear people complaining about flash is in these digg articles where people hate on it.Doesn't the hero have flash capabilities? Don't some Nokia phones?I don't hear any complaints from owners for those phones. If the iphone had flash and android didn't I'm sure the flash hate would be a lot less in these topics.

Just two things that stood out for me (I'm only like 1 1/2 years out of college myself): Go learn a versioning system like Subversion, if your school didn't teach you how to use it. It's not a big deal to learn but being prepared helps! Second, go learn a build system if you school didn't teach you it; i.e. Maven, or Ant for Java. Without build systems, building commercial software would absolutely suck. My school neglected both of those items. I don't think I blame them for the second one (for a small school project there's not much reason to include anything like a build system), but the first one could have been taught in less than one class, and actually would have saved the teacher work.I do, to a point, understand why they weren't included: they're tools for software development, not technically computer science. But dangit, most people in CS go on to make software, so you'd think I'd be a bit useful to include...
