Fairly obvious problem here:US $$ = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Spent on Defense > $ Spent on EducationPerhaps, we could move a few of those defense dollars over to the education column to stop the bleeding.
Bush did mess up the economy... but wall street crashing just coincided with Bush's watch, not because of it. Hell, most of the deregulation of the mortgage industry that lead to the crash was put into motion during Clinton's watch. Bush did not help the economy, and he did drive us into debt but lets be honest with ourselves here and blame both parties... not just our favorite scapegoat. And how does the President have any control over wall street? He can't sign into law that which never appears before him. Blame Congress, as they are the ones flushing this country down the drain.

MAD tv was always ***** terrible. It had a few good characters, and occasional two minute segments of genuine humor. But mostly, they exploited their most successful characters/personalities and beat those dead horses so long they turned into bloody pools of pulverized dead horse. And they still were never funny enough to fill, what was it, an hour? They couldn't be funny enough for fifteen minutes a month.!

As a Muslim who feels he has been taught to be respectful of other religions, what does Islamic tolerance have to say on the conditions of many non-Muslim minorities living in Muslim-majority countries? What does Islamic tolerance have to say of Kashmiri Hindus, who are a peaceful community ethnically cleansed from a land they have always lived in by Muslim militant groups? What does Islamic tolerance have to say about Buddhists being attacked in Southern Thailand? What Islamic tolerance have to say about non-Muslims ethnic groups in Malaysia being second-class citizens with inferior rights?I never hear about this from anybody in the Muslim community.Tolerance doesn't come from mere PR declarations, which are mere sales pitches for one's own community. Tolerance is something that has to go deeper than that, and it has to touch the politics of that community - because credibility doesn't come from mere marketing.
