Let it tank? I don't know about you, but I rather risk a failed bail out then have 30+% unemployment, and a recession turn into a depression. Sure it might recover, but by the time it happens on it's own, we will all be dead. The government will have to spend either way, while I support the bailout for future preservation, I think all the head people should be fired from their jobs with no bonuses for any company that had to take a bailout..

Hmmm$58 million to a private company, full of bloat and inefficiency, to produce a commercial version of a product that still only achieves questionable efficiency.or$58 million spread to multiple public universities already involved in improving the product's efficiency, so that the end product will be more commercially effective.either way....0 Jobs are created in the US, and everyman Joe needs to wait another decade before he can be a consumer.At least with the schools, the social benefit will be tremendous. how to sell it to Politicians.....
